Introduction of JNV Angul & JAAAN

    Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Angul established in 1997, a beacon of educational excellence in the region, has been nurturing young minds with a holistic approach to learning for 28 years. Since its inception, JNV Angul has produced a remarkable legacy of alumni who are now excelling in various fields, from academia and research to business, technology, entrepreneurship, the arts and are now contributing significantly to society in diverse fields. The JNV Angul Alumni Association (JAAAN) is a vibrant community of these accomplished individuals, united by their shared experiences at JNV Angul. JAAAN aims to foster lifelong connections among fellow alumni, provide support to current students and the school, engage in community service initiatives, and collectively contribute to the continued growth and success of JNV Angul and its mission to empower young minds.

    JNV Angul Alumni Association (JAAAN) is a community-driven platform created by the students of JNV Angul. Our mission is to unite alumni, fostering lifelong connections, interaction, mentorship, and collaboration. We aim to support each other's growth, preserve cherished memories, and uphold the legacy of JNV Angul while inspiring future generations. JAAAN strives to be a bridge between past, present, and future, connecting alumni with their alma mater and providing a platform for them to give back to the school and contribute to the betterment of society. We believe in the power of collective action and aim to create a strong and supportive network that will continue to thrive for years to come.

About Us - JAAAN

History of JAAAN

    JNV Angul, started in 1997, faced difficulties due to its newness and lack of a permanent building. Early efforts by former students to connect began informally in 2016 with a WhatsApp group and social service activities, led by our Founding Members.. In 2022, under the guidance of Mr. Jayakrushna Nath and Mr. Soumya Ranjan Sahoo, JAAAN officially formed with rules and a governing body.

    The "Op JAAAN" campaign, very important for bringing all former students together, was driven by the hard work of the governing body members. The Silver Jubilee celebrations further strengthened the association, bringing about organized changes and increased involvement.

    JAAAN's journey, marked by the dedication and vision of its founding members and leaders, serves as an inspiration for other young alumni associations. It shows the power of working together and the long-lasting impact of former students' involvement in shaping the future of their school. The association continues to grow and develop, aiming to connect generations of former students and contribute to the continued success of JNV Angul.

Our Mission

The mission of JAAAN is to unite all alumni of JNV, Angul, Odisha to develop synergistic plans to help and support all alumni, students, staff and Association as a whole to achieve its vision and to enable JNV alumnus to add value to Association.

Our Vision

To unite and create a socially conducive and symbiotic platform among all Alumni of JNV Angul for the betterment of alma-maters, members and Association at large.
